Characters limitation on the metabox fields

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: to add character limitation on metabox fields (example 4 characters in field,...) but i can't find how to do it.

Hi, there's nothing built-in to Types that will help you limit the number of characters in a field. It will require custom code. Are your posts created with Forms, or created in wp-admin?
