we have 16 posts edit forms, I make it in expert mode (HTML editor) after another admin add notification to every form (we do not switch to the visual editor)
after add notification, we lost all code at HTML editor and just have all default fields
also now we have the message "There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave" at all edit form pages (look 1.png)
I spend so much time creating custom fields in expert mode
and we have some backup (not sure can restore or not) so before we try to restore the backup I want to ask why that happened? Why nowhere no have notice bout add notification can broke form? also, can I restore the form field from revision? can you check it, please?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I've performed some tests on my website, but couldn't reproduce this issue. The fields and the code in the form's expert mode stayed unchanged when notifications were added or edited.

Is it possible that the other admin saved the form when it was still loading? It is safe to restore the form's content from the post revision and you can test this again, by adding some changes to the notification, to see if the changes are lost.

In case the issue persists, it would be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One. This will help in narrowing down to any possible, third-party code conflict.

Please let me know how it goes.

regards,
Waqar
