[Resolved] Change the order of Views listed in any GUIs

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

In the GUI available on the backend such as Toolset Shortcodes > Fields and Views > Post/Taxonomy View or the Fields and Views button in the Views loop editor.

Views appear to be shown in the order they are created. Is there any way to change this to alphabetically order for example?

Solution:

There isn't such kind of built-in feature

In all of the GUIs available, I believe custom fields are shown in the order they appear in the custom field group? This can be changed within the custom field group to suit.

Views appear to be shown in the order they are created. Is there any way to change this to alphabetically order for example? As I have more and more Views, they are becoming increasingly difficult to find using the GUI (opposite of what it is meant for!).

Hello,

I assume we are talking about this:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Views

You can change the order of list by clicking the column header "Title", it will be able to sort the lists as alphabetically order.

Hello Luo Yang, thank you for your reply!

Sorry, I should of stated in a clearer way.

I meant the GUI available on the backend such as Toolset Shortcodes > Fields and Views > Post/Taxonomy View or the Fields and Views button in the Views loop editor.

Thanks for the details, as you can see, there isn't such kind of built-in feature, you can add a feature request for it:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

Our developers will evaluate it.
