Instead, I got:
"Show results within" and "of"
Hi, I'm using the custom search filter (search by distance) but it's not translated into Spanish and I can't change the texts anywhere. I need to change the text "Show results within" and "of". My site is not multi-language and they preferred not to have to buy WPML and to have an additional plugin. Is it possible to change these texts without WPML? Thanks.

I assume you are using Blocks editor to setup the post view.
If it is, please find and select the "Distance" field block, in the setting panel, section "Field", option "Text and placeholders for input fields", change it as what you want. see my screenshot Show-results.jpg
The default format is below:
Show results within %%DISTANCE%% of %%CENTER%%
