Category Type archive page not using the right page

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have been trying to create a page to include the "Category Taxonomy" archive posts

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I have followed the video tutorial

Is there a similar example that we can see?

This is the page with RIGHT/Perfect format format for the "Papers & Opinions" CPT posts
1) - I want to add the ability to sort "latest, oldest"
2) - When I click on the Category Taxonomy (any of them) then this page is NOT used...
I am using a combinaison of Kadence block and Toolset

I see you build the "Papers & Opinions" CPT archive using "Kadence" addon plugins.

The question you raised here you should raise to the related Kadence add-on plugin using which you created the archive.

When you create archive using Toolset we would be happy to help.

Hi Minesh,

I think you may have misundertood me! I need to solve my issues by any mean necessary
- The initial site hidden link (PRODUCTION site) has a lousy layout which needs to be improved
this is what I have done (more or less) the current display on the beta site hidden link is what I want to achieve, however I am blocked by limitation on Toolset site.

I have managed to reach a mix by using kadence plugins AND Toolset, since ALL my CPT data are created via the toolset community site I have build 2 years ago and that is the reason when the end user creates or edits a CPT post it is still working.
What I am missing - I have already asked Kadence support and they are stumbling on toolset feature

1) The ability to display the CPT Archive when I click on the category type (for example "ELECTORAL POLITICS"
2) I want to display sorting (see image attached)

Here is the archive listing page from Toolset:

I see you have created the archive "Archive for Categories" that was unassigned. So I've set this archive source to display the content "Categories".

Now when you click on the any taxonomy term on the following page:

I can see it loads the archive "Archive for Categories".

Regarding the archive for post type "Papers & Opinions" I suggest you can set the archive to display the custom post type "Papers & Opinions" from the Toolset as I can see there are multiple archives created and then to that archive you can add the sorting options.

The issue is currently the archive is displayed from your kadence addon plugin but you have to create the archive within Toolset and set your archive to display your desired post type and taxonomy.
