Now, the author can see his own ship (which is set as private) when he searches for it, but he can't see the ship is his "my account" environment. The "my account" is a view which has a filter "Select posts with the author the same as the current logged in user." See this video for the view's settings: hidden link.
That works fine when the ship is published, but when it's private, I can only see it when I have an editor or administrator role.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you please share problem URL of the "my account" as well as frontend user access details as well as admin access details.
You can tell me with what frontend user access I can loging and what post he can see as the loggedin user is set as post author.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I've added another Query Filter to your view on the page where you added your view:
=> hidden link
Post status filter
Select posts with status of publish or private.
