this page here hidden link, if you scroll down to the historica trial results you will see
First Place
MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB
MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB

the info is entered to site from within single-dogs.php using [wpv-view name="view-to-show-all-events-related-to-adog"]
(view to show all events related to adog )

the item that calls the 1st MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB is
[wpv-post-link item="@events-dog.parent"]
this works as i want

the item that calls the 2nd MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB is
[wpv-post-link item='[wpv-post-field name="_EventOrganizerID" item="@events-dog.parent"]']
this just replicates what the 1st MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB does.

i want the 2 nd to be linked to the club so if i clciked the 2nd MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB it would take me here :
hidden link

any suggestion as to what im getting wrong?

many thanks in advance

Hi Martin,

I hope you're well and a Happy New Year.

I've checked the single dog page that you mentioned ( yourwebsite.com/dogs/mallowdale-queeny/ ) and noticed that the view "View to show all events related to adog" is generating those h2 links correctly.

The first "MUNCASTER GUNDOG CLUB" link leads to the event page ( yourwebsite.com/event/muncaster-gundog-club/ ) while the second one leads to the club/organizer page ( yourwebsite.com/club/muncaster-gundog-club/ ), just as you expected.

Looks like you've managed to make it work after writing to us, but please let me know if this needs any further review.

regards,
Waqar
