Can't add excerpt to PAGE post type

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'm trying to use this widely documented code to add excerpts to standard the PAGE content type.

add_post_type_support( 'page', 'excerpt' );

It's in my funtions.php file but not working. Is there something Toolset-specific that might be preventing it from working? Is there another way I should be trying to do this? I need to use standard WordPress excerpts.

The excerpt section should be in the Documents tab of your edit page. See Screenshot

I tried your exact code and it worked fine for me with no issues at all.

Could you check the documents tab to see if you are able to see the excerpt section.
