I am trying to: I created a custom field group (Lessons and Courses Custom Fields). I added a custom field to it (Lesson Num in this case). I edited the field group and added it to the custom post types Courses and Lessons (Created by Learndash). I went into a Lesson (under the learndash sidebar). I clicked on Screen options - "Lessons and Courses Custom Fields" donot appear and I don't see a meta box below.

I have tried every configuration and access control, etc. I have changed themes, deactivated all plugins except learndash and Toolset. Re installed Toolset, etc.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

You would need to go to my site and access it - I will give info below.

The lessons custom post type is accessed via Learndash on the left side of the page.

Something is messed up somewhere.

Could you also please try to create a new custom field group / custom field and access it in a post or page, etc. Something is not quite right.

Thanks.

So, as it turns out, I host with Siteground. THey have a caching program that I had turned off the plugin in my wordpress plugins. However, it was still caching on the server side. I re-activated the plugin and then purged the cache and was able add custom fields, purge the cache and all would be fine.

Figured out that I'd have to go into my siteground control panel to completely turn off caching.
