[Resolved] cannot connect to toolset_com

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I kept seeing a warning that Toolset plugins couldn’t connect to toolset.com due to a site key mismatch, even though the plugins worked fine.

Solution:

Unregistered and re-registered Toolset from WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Commercial tab → Unregister Toolset → Register Toolset → Get a key for this site → paste the new key and confirm. The warning message disappeared afterward.

Tell us what you are trying to do? manage plugins

Is there any documentation that you are following?yes, https://toolset.com/forums/topic/toolset-plugin-cannot-connect-to-toolset-17/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?sunarisewoodwork.com

I followed the instructions in your support forum, installed the otgs plugin, toolset says that everything is registered , but I still get warning at the top of the plugins page that toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com due to site key not matching

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support.

Do you have any problems using Toolset itself? I checked our side and your website is not blocked by us.

Thanks.

no, it seems to work fine. I am using views and forms within the elementor page builder.
I just want to make sure things update properly etc. because everytime I go to the plugins page I see a big alert at the top of the page saying that i am not connecting properly to toolset.com
is there some way to clear things up so the alert disappears?

Hi,

Thanks, so it might be a sticky message that can only be deleted via the database.

But before that, I wonder if you can test by re-registering Toolset:

- Make sure that you are logged in oolset.comt
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".
- Click the "Unregister Toolset" link. (Your data will be safe)
- Click the "Register Toolset" at the right section of the screen.
- Click the "Get a key for this site" link annotated in the screenshot below.
- A new page will open up and the auto-generated key will show in pop-up.
- Copy the key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box annotated in the screenshot below.
- Click the "OK" button.

Thanks.

Thank you Christopher, I did the steps you listed and it seems the warning message is gone, hopefully for good.
