Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
These errors should arise if you have the Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg plugin, which you don't have installed on the website. I suspect that this is happening because the plugins files are not complete or because of compatibility conflict with a 3rd party component(a plugin).
I deleted and installed the Toolset blocks again to exclude the possibility of a noncomplete install. But, I did not activate it because I am afraid it will crash the site and I don't have FTP access to recover it. Please activate it and check if it fixes the problem.
Otherwise, it is probably a compatibility conflict, please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.
If this does not help, I'll need to take a copy of your website and debug it locally, let me know if that's fine with you.
Hello.
The issue persists.
I have inherited someone else's work (who utilized the Toolset plugins). The Blocks plugin is installed but deactivated on the original site, so I can't imagine it is necessary, but because I am having a strange issue I am trying to reduce the number of variables.
Ultimately, I have two Gravity Forms submitted and processed, with post data writing to a custom post type (Profiles) created using Toolset. The "Profiles" should contain all of the information collected from the two Gravity Forms submissions, but for whatever reason it is not collecting data from the first form only the second form. No code has changed. So this leads me to believe something isn't right with Toolset.
I have deactivated Toolset Blocks in recovery mode and returned the website to a normal status.
At your request, I have created a FTP account for you: [Credentials moved to private reply]
To reproduce the ultimate issue, you can follow these steps:
1. Register ("Take the selfie") = hidden link
2. Complete the instrument = hidden link
3. Then you will see calculation data output to the screen instead of a "Selfie Report" (note: you can duplicate this exact same process at hidden link where it is working correctly). For this site and issue, the Selfie Report is not displaying. It is only showing calculation data. All code, pages, configurations, etc. are the same as that which is on the original website. So there's no reason it shouldn't be working.
4. If you go into the WordPress Admin and look at the custom post "Profiles" you will see your test submission, with email Untitled, and missing data. You can compare it to previous submissions (imported from the original website) which has all data present. It is my belief that because this data isn't properly recorded into the "Profiles", the code has no way to reference the type and is simply dumping the functions.php data to the screen.
I hope this information helps. And thank you for your assistance in this very frustrating situation!
-Sean
Hello Sean and thank you for your feedback. However, the FTP credentials do not take me to the website folder. Check this screenshot for what I get hidden link
I'll need FTP access to allow me to activate PHP debugging in the wp-config.php file and to access the debug.log file, usually located in wp-content folder.
I can also install Duplicator or All In One Migration and take a copy of your website to analyze it locally. Let me know if you allow me that.
Sorry about that. The FTP credentials should work properly now. I have logged in with the credentials provided and have verified that it lands you in the correct folder. The domain is an addon domain on another account.
(Sidenote: our updates aren't showing in the customer portal)
And yes, you have permission to install plugins as needed to help resolve the issue. This is a development only site right now. Despite being in a production mode, it is not being used or advertised.
Thanks again!
I took the copy of your website and worked on it a bit locally. First, I deactivated all non Toolset plugins and tried to activate Toolset Blocks. That completed without issues. So, I started activating all the plugins and my local copy is working without issues.
I still don't find what was causing this error when I try to activate Blocks. Most probably a conflict with another plugin, but I could not find it yet. I'll run some more tests and get back to you. In the meantime, as a workaround, deactivate all non Toolset plugins and activate Blocks, then start activating the plugins one at a time.
I took a database copy from your website to analyze further why the issue with activating Toolset Blocks happens, but the plugin was already activated. I assume, that you have followed my suggested workaround and activated the plugin.
I deactivated it and activated it again, and the issue does not appear anymore. And without reproducing the issue, I can't analyze it. If you are not encountering any issues anymore, I suggest resolving this ticket. Sounds good?
Though my particular issue is not yet fully resolved, my reported issue of plugin activation is no longer a problem so I will close this support ticket. If I continue to have plugin related issues I will open a new ticket and reference this one. Please ensure any post in this discussion which contains folder paths or domain names are hidden from public view. Thanks again.
