Hi Support

I am trying to:
Access Toolset > Settings

I expected to see:
Toolset Settings screen opening up.

Instead, I got:
There has been a critical error on your website.

The only way for me to access Toolset Settings is to temporarily deactivate Google SiteKit.

I have seen another post where this issue is known and have used the workaround successfully in the past, however it seems to keep popping back up and last time I tried the workaround it didn't have any effect.

Is the permanent fix due soon with a plugin update?

Thanks and best regards
Simon

Hi Simon,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Right now the only thing that would work is the workaround that was provided.

There will be a permanent fix for this coming in another update of our plugins.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane

I just re-applied the workaround and it didn't fix the issue, though as I mentioned it did work for me previously in the past.

Is it perhaps because SiteKit has bumped up a version and the workaround no longer applies to that newer version of SiteKit?

Kind regards
Simon

Hi Simon,

There is a known conflict with this and Forms as well.

So if you haven't replaced the file in our Toolset Forms plugin then you should go ahead and do this as well.

I've just tested the patch with the latest version of the sitekits plugin and it works fine for me.

Thanks,
Shane

HI Shane

OK, that's news to me 🙂

Can you please share the exact location for forms where the file should be replaced and I'll give it a whirl?

Thanks and regards
Simon

Hi Shane

I worked out the correct folder myself. Now it's working again, although that is a change from the last time where I only had to replace it in two locations. Perhaps you could add a note to the other support ticket that this location is affected too.

.../wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/vendor/toolset/common-es/php/Block/Style/Responsive/ToolsetSettings.php

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
