Is this possible -

Three post types A, B and C -
A is a parent of B and C.
B is also a parent of C ?

Many thanks

Yes this is possible

What do you need it for?

Perhaps I can help you set things up.

Note that if you display the Parents of your Childs (namely, if you display either A or B) you will need to query either C or B type, depends what you want to display, and call the Parent following this DOC:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/displaying-fields-of-parent-pages/

Please let me know if you have further questions regarding the issue mentioned in this Thread

Thank you for your patience.

That's great, many thanks. Just wanted to check the universe wouldn't implode or something!

I've managed to achieve what I wanted.
