Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm trying to make a CPT template using the block editor in a Divi site. I don't want to use any Divi builder features at all, as the site is being transitioned to Astra. My issue is that (a) the left side of the content is full width, but the right side is boxed, and I want it all to be boxed like a standard page. Also, (b) I was able to remove the Post title under Disable elements, but there is still the metadata date displaying, and I want to remove that.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I haven't been able to find nything close to telling me this.
Is there a similar example that we can see?

If you are transitioning to Astra from Divi, does that mean the problems are when using Astra or when using Divi?
In either case, both themes have theme option support with Toolset, so when you make a template at Toolset > Content Templates you should see a box with theme options where you can specify layout to include sidebar or not, etc., which varies by theme.
Except, full support for this has not yet been added with the new block editor UI, so the first question would be which editor are you using for your Content Templates?
Hi there, I am only using Divi as the theme at the moment, but because I will replace Divi with Astra, I want to make sure that transition is as smooth as possible. I already have a lot of pages and posts with Divi dependencies to revise and I don't want any more.
Yes. I saw the theme options, and was able to remove the Post Title with that. I was trying out the block editor, but it sounds as if it is not ready for templates. Is there any workaround, or do I have to try a different editor?
The new block editor hasn't added supprt for theme options yet.
So, right now, you can go to Toolset > Content Templates and create a new template for some post type.
You should see the classic editor, and the theme options available.
So you would be able to set the theme options, and create a template with the classic editor (using a mix of HTML and shortcodes for dynamic output).
There is a button to switch to the Block editor to design the template, but once you don't you can't switch back and forth between the classic editor and the block editor without losing content.
So it is a little cumbersome, but you can create the template with the classic editor, set the theme options as required, maybe save the template with some placeholder content so that you can check it on the front end and verify the options work as expected, then switch to the block editor to design the template, knowing that you cannot really go back to the classic mode to change the theme options without losing your work.
