Hi team,

I am designing a view with the block editor and I'm trying to display a sidebar with search filters next to the results of the view. When I try to insert a Kadence Row Layout widget into the the view (right above the view search) I can't get it there.

A couple months ago I had this working before I deleted everything and started over. The widget tree looked like this:

View
Map
Row Layout
Column
View Search
Column
View Output

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Do you mean that at one part of your page created using block you want to display the search filters and on another part you want to display the search results? do you want to display it side by side?

Yes - its possible but there is a tricky way.

You need to add a two-column block in-between the search block and result block.

The steps needs to follow would be:
- Set up your View with custom search and View results
- At the bottom of the View add a block, a column block with two cols (narrow + wide)
- With the columns block selected (not an individual column) use the arrows at the left to move it up so that it's between the View search block and the View results block
- Drag and drop the search block into the column on the left
- Drag and drop the results block into the column on the right

This requires some steps but using video you can see - how to do it.
