Hello

Can not enable a 100% template Post-type with Toolset.

Using Avada 6.2.1 - WordPress 5.3.2 - Toolset Types 3.3.10 and Toolset Views 3.1.2

- Have reviewed all settings in Avada and Toolset.
- Have tried with and without Child (we do use child)
- Have also installed all clean - no plugins other than Toolset and Avada.

Please advise, we use Tool set on a number of high profile industry web sites and this is also a very important project.

Thank you so much for your assistance. Can provide access if requested.

Regards
- John

Hi John

When you add a Toolset Content Template and you have a supported theme like Avada you'll see a Theme Options section at the bottom.

Expanding that you'll find various theme settings you can override for posts using this template (screenshot), including the content width (where you can opt for full-width).

I just tried it and it looks like it works with current versions.

Hi Nigel

Thank you for prompt reply. Confirmed - we saw and modified this yesterday, but no luck. It appeared we could not set full width within the Avada Fusion Editor on a per container or row basis.

What we accomplished this morning is adding a class to the Avada Fusion Editor container and then set a new class for that container. Example: .testContainer .fusion-row {max-width: 100% !important;}

It helped to add a background color to containers for testing for visuals since it is not readily apparent that the container is 100% even with inspect element testing.

Confirming our results / solution - the Avada Fusion editor within the Content Template does not show a 100% width Option for each container as it does in non-Toolset content (we played with disabling all compilers, CSS / bootstrap options, etc)

IF this is not the expected solution, please let us know.

Thank you
- John

I had checked the full-width theme setting for the content template to see that it works, which it does if you just add some content directly to the template, but it fails when you design the template with Fusion Builder.

For some reason (known to Avada), the settings for the Container do not include the full-width option when editing the content template in the same way they do when editing a post directly.

Inspecting the CSS on the front-end, I see that the max-width style that gets added to all pages is over-ridden when a post is made with Fusion Builder and the Container block specifies 100% width (the setting that is unavailable with content templates).

You can reproduce the effect by editing your content template and editing the settings for the Container, and in the section where you can add CSS classnames to the container, add "hundred-percent-fullwidth".

That will do the trick.
