I've been doing more robust things with types lately and was wondering if it's possible to easily have custom permalinks for particular scenarios.

Example:

My Post Type:

Jobs

Taxonomies:

  • Job Location
  • Job Category
  • Job Type

My Current Single Post Permalinks is:

/jobs/esthetics-nail-instructor/

What I'm wanting it to look like is:

/jobs/%job location%/%job category%/%job-type%/esthetics-nail-instructor/

Essentially this: /jobs/rochester/instructor/esthetics-nail-instructor/

Is it also possible to have custom archive pages to look as follows:

/jobs/location/syracuse
/jobs/job-category/admissions
/jobs/location/syracuse/job-category/admissions

/jobs/%job location%/
/jobs/%job category%/
/jobs/%job location%/%job category%/

I can do these things currently with the following link structure but I want pretty urls.

/location/syracuse/?post_type=jobs
/location/olean/?post_type=jobs

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Since 'Types' provides a limited solution to rewrite the base for your CPT. We offer URL rewriting option with CPT and you may try to play with that. you can find that at:
For CPT:
=> Toolset => Post Types => Edit post type => Under section "Options" you will find option rewrite

For Taxonomies:
=> Toolset => Taxonomies => Edit Taxonomy => Under section "Options" you will find option rewrite

See this screenshot:

Well - to change permalinks to your described structure will need custom programming and that is unfortunately out of the scope of our support policy. If you need custom programming work with your project, please feel free to contact our certified partners:

I suggest you should find some plugin that may help you:
=> https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?type=term&q=custom+permalink
OR
You can take some idea from the following links:

=> http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23698827/custom-permalink-structure-custom-post-type-custom-taxonomy-post-name
