I am trying to:
View the Custom posts I created with Types
Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link
I expected to see:
My Custom Posts listed
(see screenshots)
Instead, I got:
No Custom posts only numbers indicating they exist.
(see screenshots)

I must be a lower role than Admin, on your site. Please see the screenshot.
I don't see the Plugins or Theme area or any Post Type edit areas.

Can you upgrade me?

#588729

Oh... sorry, you are now an administrator.
Thanks!

Somehow you must have known the exact slug to rename the Post type, hence I suspect you initially set it up with that slug?

But you have 0 posts in that Post type anyway, so you can simply rename it back to Ads and crate new posts.

Currently there are 0 posts in the Post Type.

When you rename a Post Type's Slug, then the already created posts will disappear.
You could bring them back by editing the Database and changing the post type, or by not renaming the Slug of Post Types in Toolset > Post Types

How can I clean the database?

.. just like when un-used custom field slugs linger around you have the option to delete them in the "Post Field Control", Is there a "Post Type Control"?

#590164

No, this is not a feature of Toolset.

Mainly because we do not specially prefix those post types. They are just native, vanilla Post Types, hence the only way to see and delete them is to create a Post Type (again) with the exact SLUG that you used when you created it previously.

All the posts under that post type will be listed and deletable in the admin.
But the Post Type Slug must match.

What I can do to help you is this:
- provide me a Database Dump
- I analyse this locally and send you the list of existing post types
- You evaluate what you want to keep and delete and create accordingly post types or delete them.

Is this a good solution for you?
If so please use the next private reply to send me your database.

I cannot see the issue on your own site.
Please see the screenshot.

Can you log in as the user you provided me, and see that the issue is not present?
Then, I suggest to recreate a new user for you to use, because then it seems the User would be corrupt - as I cannot see the problem logging in with the details you shared.

Please apologize if I somehow miss the problem itself. Do not hesitate to show me, in case I miss something.

But from what I see, the post type is correctly named, and all 3 posts show up!

Thank you for your troubleshooting instructions Beda.
I logged as different users and the issue remain.
I created a new user, logged in and the issue remain.
I then used the Safari browser and there's was no issue.
The problem was my Chrome browser.
I'm sorry for wasting your time with this error.

Thanks again!
