All Import of CPT overwriting images, even when those image fields omitted

This support ticket is created 6 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

My understanding is that it is not possible to import a gallery of images into a toolset Post Type yet via All Import. I have included a repeating image field in my Post Type which I populate manually. However, when I run All Import with a CSV file, this repeating image field is overwritten (blanked out), even though the csv file does not include a corresponding image field, and even though I request that the Post Type field be expressly excluded via the All Import interface.

So, assuming there is no way to import a gallery of images into a repeating image field, how do I make sure that the images I have manually populated are not overwritten on import?

I assume we are talking about WP All Import plugin, you can follow their document to update existing posts:

If the problem still persists, that should be a bug of WP All Import plugin, I suggest you submit to their supports:
