This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
After upgrading to Types 3.0 and related updates the button to send a test email in a form notification produces an ajax 500 error.
Solution:
This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next release.

I am trying to send a test message to see how a cred notification would look .
I have several ongoing projects where I use types toolset. In each one, after upgrading to the latest version (v3.0) when I'm trying to send a test notification email for a cred form it throws me an error like in the screenshot:
