Symptoms

When adding a notification to a form to create or edit posts, the feature to send a test notification to a given email field will not work.

Workaround

This issue will be solved in the next release for Toolset Forms.

    i made a user form and tring to Send a test notification to Email but it’s not working

    I have tryed to fix it with the Patch and copyed the files to:

    /wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/application/models/form/base.php

    /wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/library/toolset/cred/embedded/classes/CredPostExpiration.php

    but not working for me.

    still getting:

    AJAX Request failed!
    Response Code: 500
    Response Message:

    The patch you suggested doesn’t work
    As soon as I try to send a test message I get an AJAX error 500

  • Interesting fact that in my installs notification aren’t working either with this variant of CRED
    Can anyone advise? No emails are sent whatsoever.

  • Same problem. Only started to fail after upgrading to Version 2.0 .. any word on how soon we will get either a working patch, or v2.1? Thanks.

  • We are ware that the patch we provided here does not solve this issue properly and I remove the patch solution – I left the erratum open as the issue is still happening, and I will update it in case I receive a new patch to apply – thank you all for the heads up.
