After the creation of a taxonomy called "categoria" ("category", in english) the voice "categorie" ("categories", in english) disappeared from the side menu of the wp-admin, under articles sub menu.

We can provide you two different site with this problem.

I would avoid using the term "category", or any translation of the word "category", as the name of a custom taxonomy for this reason. If you want to use a similar name, make sure the slug is different enough that it won't cause problems. For example, "testimonial-category" would be more appropriate than trying to use a restricted name similar to the standard "category". If you want to use the standard "category" name, use the standard category, not a custom taxonomy with a similar slug.
