I just noticed that my sharing plugin (AddThis) is adding related posts to my custom post type of Missionaries. I want related posts to be added on regular posts, but not on my custom post type. (See ss1)

Here's an example:
hidden link

I tried adding this css to the Missionary Content template to no avail (see ss2):

.jp-relatedposts {
    display: none; }

Any ideas?

Content Templates of Views do replace only the the_content() function of WordPress.
If your 3rd Party Plugin is adding stuff by hooking to other content rendering functions or elsewhere in WordPress there is not much, we can do here.

You can ask the Developers of that Plugin to provide an option where to use the Plugin, and then you could control this better.

If you want to hide the 3rd Party's Output with CSS, you need to address it's first most div class and hide it.

I do not know what HTML this Plugin produces and can not help on this since this is not our Plugin (we do not know how it creates it's content)
I suggest to contact the Developers of that Plugin.
