I am trying to create an additional menu to be displayed on the top horizontal area of the site.
How do I do it? See screenshot attached.

I tried to register a menu through the theme

functions.php

but gotten some errors
Any idea how to get this done?

Thanks in advance,
- GM

You don't need to register a new Menu.

Simply head to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and create a new Menu.

Then head to the Layout with which you want to display the Menu(s) and add a Menu cell.
When you do this, you will be able to choose which menu you want to add.

If you want to show both (or more) Menus you will insert as many Menu Cells as you want to show Menus, and each time select a different Menu.

This will display them all on your Website.
