additional filed on login

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Put a dropdown select above the login fields, so th elog in forms looks like:

Select an option
[________________________] Select your specialisation

Username or email
[________________________]

Password
[________________________]

[ Login ]

Instead, I got: Stumped.

Please can you let me know how/where to achieve this.

Hi Darren,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately this is not possible with our plugins as our Shortcode uses the default wordpress login form and fields in order to setup the login form.

In order to have an additional field you will need a plugin that does a custom login form or create a custom form for login.
