Tell us what you are trying to do?
- Display Block view loop items as map markers with focus links. The Map block has the option to set markers by view block. I've created a new view block which is pulling a custom content type with location. The View is not selectable in the map block... are there instructions anywhere for setting up maps with the new block method?

Is there any documentation that you are following?
- Cant find any new documentation for these new blocks

Hi Derek,

Thank you for getting in touch.

You can actually do this by following our documentation in the link below.
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/display-posts-on-maps/#adding-map-markers

Please try this and let me know as this is the documentation on how to add the map markers with our Blocks plugin.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks,

I took the same steps as this: https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/display-posts-on-maps/#using-views-as-the-source-of-the-markers

But I'm unable to select View block - get the same error as my original screenshot. I have tried adding the address field as both a 'Single field' and 'Fields and Text' block type... not working for me.

The issue seems to revolve around the default columns block. I recreated the map and locations views outside of the columns block and it worked.

I then moved both blocks back into the columns and everything still functions properly... except the map still says it cant find any views (map still works however).

I think more work needs to be done with making sure these work with columns.

Hi Derek,

Thank you for reporting this.
I was able to replicate the issue exactly as you say and it shouldn't function like this.

You should still be able to select your view for the markers even if it is in a column.

I went ahead and escalated this to our 2nd tier supporters for further debugging.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Derek,

There is an erratas page for this with a workaround.

Could you try the solution here below and let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
