Access and read permissions for Posts Groups

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

I was wondering, do I need Layouts to be able so set custom message for users without read permission for a Post Group? This plugin is not suggested to be installed for websites based on blocks, right?

Hello,

Yes, you are right, In your case, it is not required to install Layouts plugin, you can use a content template to display the 404 error page contents, see our document:

The current page rendered using a template layout or, in case you are not using Layouts, a Content Template.
