Topic Tag: Controlling access to front-end content
Access plugin allows you to limit front-end read access to specific pages, posts or custom types and define who will be able to access that content. It also provides the functionality to set access control for specific blocks inside page content, in order to place texts that are visible to or hidden from certain user types.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us on which content and user types you are trying to apply access control.

The issue here is that the user is using Polylang to translate their site, however they used the Access plugin to deny access to guests on their page. When the guests views the translated version of the page then the page is no longer being blocked.
Solution:
I have the perfect workaround for this. Instead of blocking the page itself. I would suggest blocking the content inside the page.
So the reason why its not working is because of the language parameter in the URL which changes the url structure.
What you can do is to use our access shortcode to block the contents of the page based on the user as well as to show the login form.
Problem: I would like to restrict Guest read access on certain posts, so I created a Post Group with no read access for Guests and applied that Post Group to a Post. Guests are still able to read the Post.
Solution: Make sure Guests do not have read access in Access Controls > Post Types.
The issue here is that the user has a multirole for his customers and wanted to know if Access only looks at the primary role when setting permissions.
Solution:
Yes our access plugin only looks at the primary role of the user when applying its permissions.
Problem:
How to limit posts so that only their author can see them?
Solution:
The solution is effectively the same for hiding all of the content of a post as for hiding part of the content of a post, which is described in the linked documentation.
Problem: Pages that should be restricted by Post Group are showing up for Guests when I choose to display the 404 page instead in Access Controls > Post Group settings.
Solution: Check to be sure Post Type permissions are not causing a problem with Post Group permissions.
Problem:
Unable to add posts/pages to an Access Post Group, the post selector field is not working.
Solution:
The problem occurs because of a conflict with the Slider Revolution plugin, which can be temporarily disabled while setting up the Post Group.
