Problem:
I am creating a site with artworks.
Each artwork is a post with CPT Exhibitions

I would like people to click a button and it takes them to a form so they can ask the buy the artwork.

I would like the catalogue number and title from the post to automatically appear on the form, so they can just add their personal details.

Solution:
Toolset Forms are bound to custom post types. You will need to create an additional custom post type "Messages" for visitors form submissions. I believe the solution in the following ticket is very close to your use case

Problem:
How can we limit users to submit a Form just once?

Solution:
There are several ways to achieve this but no inbuilt one.

Another way is to wrap the Form in an HTML condition, which listens to a post count of the user.
This requires a custom code snippet, which then you can use to produce a shortcode or function to use in the HTML Conditional.
