Problem:
The goal here was to use a SVG Map made by MapSVG Plugin, as a Search input for a View.
MapSVG produces interactive maps where regions in the map can be clicked, and hold information such as the region name and id.
Obviously, clicking in any area within the map is supposed to trigger the View search passing data from the Maps Object to the search.
Solution:
This requires custom code that cannot be generalized and described as one, standard solution.
The main idea is to use the MapSVG JS API to get the ID of the area clicked, on click and pass that to the adequate URL Search parameter for Views.
Problem:
When adding/editing posts with a front-end form how to limit the number of categories that can be assigned? A select field allows only one, but checkboxes or multi-select don't have a way of limiting how many terms can be applied.
Solution:
There is no built-in support for this within Toolset.
Probably the best option would be to use a select dropdown and then add the select2 library where the maximum number of terms can be specified.
After user click button "View gallery", popup a window, in this window display image gallery.
Solution:
It needs some custom JS codes, for example, with Bootstrap framework, there is a modal component, you can follow there document to setup button "View gallery", and display the image gallery insider the modal content.
I created some Layouts assigned to some CPT just wondering and learning how Toolset works. Now, I don't need those Layouts and I want to delete them to clean my back end. When I try to delete them, I can't. Layout says that there are contents assigned, but it is not.
Solution:
To fix it, you can try to re-create the custom post type, and delete the layout, then delete post type again.
