Reflections and doubts regarding Toolset. Mainly doubts about forms Started by: hernanL in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: I have questions about using Toolset forms in a project. Specifically, I want to know if I can have a form that creates a custom post type and requests user information simultaneously. Additionally, I want to enable multiple file uploads for disconnected users in forms. Solution: 1. It is not possible to have two forms inside a single form. If the forms do not need to be connected, create a form and set it to redirect the user to a page with the second form upon submission. For connected forms, custom coding is required. 2. Multiple file uploads for disconnected users are not currently supported with simple HTML upload. You can request this feature at https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/. There are no current plans for implementing this feature. Simple question. Can a custom field be set as a featured image for a custom post Started by: hernanL in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: The customer wants to set a custom field as the featured image for an entire custom post type. They are looking for a solution to establish this custom field globally for each post, as they did not find an existing feature in the documentation that meets this requirement. Solution: We informed the customer that there is no built-in feature within Toolset to directly set a custom field as the featured image. However, we provided a workaround involving the following steps: Use the save_post action hook to trigger a PHP function when a post is saved. Use the get_post_meta function to retrieve the custom image field value. Retrieve the remote image file using cURL. Save the image into the WordPress media library using wp_insert_attachment. Set the media ID as the post's featured image using set_post_thumbnail. Additionally, we shared a link to a forum post where a colleague provided a working example of code that runs through all posts of a specific custom post type, assigning a given custom field as the featured image. Simple question. Correct way for an image to have the post title as title Started by: hernanL in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: I am having an issue finding a way to place the title of a post as the title of an image using shortcodes in WordPress. Solution: Use the WordPress shortcode within another shortcode to achieve this, such as [types field='image-slug' title='[wpv-post-title]' alt='%%ALT%%' align='center' size='full' ]. For more information, visit WordPress Dashboard > Toolset > Settings or refer to the documentation.
