Problem: I would like to control the display of fields in wp-admin. I would like to display a single field only on one post type. I would like to display a single field conditionally based on user role. I would like to display an entire field group based on user role.
Solution: Individual field display in wp-admin can be based on other custom field values in the same post, but not User role. The best solution Toolset offers there is you can create a separate field group just for this individual field. Then you can manage that field group display by user role using Access.
Problem: I would like to pass an override "limit" into a View using a shortcode attribute.
Solution: Use the "limit" shortcode attribute to pass in an override value for the limit criteria. When inserting a View shortcode, use the Override Settings tab in the popup to specify override criteria.
Problem:
I have several Term and Post Field groups.
They all appear in a certain order on posts or term edit screens.
Usually, one field group metabox under the other.
Is there a way to alter the order by those Field Groups are displayed?
Solution:
No, but we have a feature request in place to allow that, at least with an API Filter.

Problem: I would like to apply CSS to a page using CSS added in a custom field.
Solution: It is not recommended to include CSS in a custom field like this. Use the unique CSS selectors applied to each page by WordPress to apply custom styles per page. If you choose not to take this approach, it becomes difficult to manage styles for complex sites.
