Changing featured image alters results in views
Started by: davelow
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: After I updated the featured image of my post, the results in a View filtered by custom field are not what I would expect. Solution: In this case, the issue is caused by the select field having a null value. Saving the post with an updated featured image set a null value for this field, which removes this post from this result based on the custom field query filter. Try adding a default value and resaving the existing posts. |

Started by: davelow
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: The user wanted to filter their view by using a shortcode attribute. Solution: This can be done by adding your query filter then set it to by a shortcode attribute. Give this attribute a name and then you can call your view shortcode with that attribute. Example if you gave the attribute a name called "date" then you would call it like this. |

Problem: Re-creating an archive for a custom post type, because I did not get to finish it the last session. how may I resume if i want to use the same name? Solution: As the warning message you mentioned above: There might be other view or Views wordpress archive is using same title, you will need to choose another name(title). For example, you can get those existed views here: - Views - WordPress Archives Relevant Documentation: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/creating-wordpress-custom-post-archives/ |

How to limit the pop up width to screen width?
Started by: davelow
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: The popup windows for each marker on my map View are wider than the available map space. How can I limit the width of the infowindow popups to be contained within the map screen? Solution: There's nothing built-in to Toolset that will accomplish this for you, but you can use custom CSS with media queries to apply styles to the infowindow popup. Examples: @media screen and (max-width: 375px) { .gw-iw-style { width: 210px !important; } } @media screen and (min-width: 376px) and (max-width: 450px) { .gw-iw-style { width: 300px !important; } } Relevant Documentation: |
