Post relationship query with toolset_get_related_posts()
Started by: cedricd-2

Problem: I have a M2M relationship set up using an intermediary post type. I would like to use PHP and the post relationships API to query get all related parent posts of a known child post. Solution: Use this code as a template: $artists = toolset_get_related_posts( get_the_ID(), // get posts related to the current post (product) 'artiste-product', // relationship between the posts 'child', // get posts where product is the child in given relationship 10, 0, // pagination array(), // no extra args needed here 'post_object', // return post objects 'parent' // return the related parent post(s) in this relationship ); Relevant Documentation: |

One View will crash WP but a similar one will not
Started by: cedricd-2

Problem: The issue here is that the user has 2 similar views, where one will crash their site and the other doesn't Solution: In this user's case I was not able to see any crashing occurring with either view. Both pages loaded up fine. For this user it turned out to be a caching issue and I would recommend clearing your cache if you experience something similar. |

Filter not working with custom taxonomy
Started by: cedricd-2
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: The issue here is that the user's Frontend filters are not working. Solution: This usually occurs when the user has copy and pasted the Frontend Filter from another view. This doesn't add the Query Filters to the view that the frontend filters rely on to filter the view. If you are experiencing this issue I would recommend clicking the "New Filter" button on the Filter Output section of your view and add the frontend filters from there. |

What happen when I remove the site from ‘my sites’ ?
Started by: cedricd-2

Problem: What happens when I remove a site from "My sites" list on toolset.com or wpml.org? Solution: In general the plugins will continue to work exactly the same as before you unregistered the sites. The main difference is that automatic plugin updates will no longer be provided, and professional support is not available to those clients. In order receive support, or automatic updates for WPML or Toolset in the future, your client can register the plugins with their own purchased registration key(s). It is also possible to log in to the Toolset or WPML sites and download updated plugin versions. However, without a valid account on @https://toolset.com or @https://wpml.org, the client will have no access to these downloads. So it's possible the client will continue to see messages about available updates to the software, but have no ability to update. |
