We have picked up an issue over the weekend where custom posts were not displaying properly. This post type has a default layout assigned, and when posts are saved this layout assignment is deactivated.

In the back end of the individual post, the template layout box is showing 'no layout' and the box is partially obscured, and one cannot see the normal text or the drop down menu.

After disabling all plugins and re-enabling Toolset, the plugins worked as normal, but when Yoast 11.0 is re-enabled the issue is re-created. The behaviour is erratic - I cannot seem to recreate it, but it has occurred several times on our site and there is definitely an issue.

OK - we've managed to recreate the issue, and I've now disabled Yoast, which enables me to reassign a layout.

The first upload shows the Template layout box missing half of its information, and the dropdown menu is unresponsive.

After disabling Yoast, the box returns to normal - as per my second upload.

And lastly - the 'RESEARCH Single' layout is the one assigned to the Publications post type - this is not showing that posts are not assigned to this layout. Also, when one reassigns the layout to this post type and selects 'update all to use this layout' nothing happens. One still needs to manually assign the correct layout in the individual post.

Well - I installed and activated the Yoast 11.0 and edit the CPT where layout is not assigned.

I can see that the Layouts metabox is just working fine like you shared the following screenhot:
=> hidden link

I do not able to reproduce the issue - do I need to set/change any settings from Yoast to reproduce the issue?
