Hi,

I set up lost password and recover password pages following the membership site course. My first problem was that the forms in these pages used English instead of the native user language. So I found a workaround this issue in the forum using a custom function to manually translate those strings.
However the email sent using these forms are also in English whereas recover lost password emails sent using WordPress' native forms are in the native language as you can see in the attached pictures.
Am I missing any setting to set the email language or is it really a bug that needs to be fixed? If the latter is true could you provide me with a temporary fix since I need to deliver this membership site in a day or two?

Image description: the email above was sent by wordpress native recover password page. The one below was sent by Toolset recover password forms.

Hi Roberto,

Thank you for getting in touch.

This is actually a known issue and we have an internal ticket on the issue. Unfortunately i'm not seeing on the Ticket where the developers have added a fixed version or an ETA for a fix.

However the team is aware of the situation.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Roberto

I spent more time on this issue recently while we await a fix from the developers and produced a patch that should resolve the problem in the meantime.

Please see https://toolset.com/errata/forgot-password-workflow-reverts-to-default-language-on-multilingual-sites/

Hi Nigel,

I applied the temporary patch. Then I tested recovering my own password. The email is half in Portuguese (The first sentences of the email) and half in English (the text related to the recovery link itself).

Shane is on vacation. This is Minesh here and I'll take care of this ticket. Hope this is ok.

Based on the debug information you shared, I see you are not using WPML plugin to translate your content(strings).

The shared patch is designed for users of WPML, and now we know that we will require solution for non-English sites as well. We will add a note to our internal ticket so that it will not be missed and get fixed in near future release.
