I am trying to:
Display a list of values from a "Checkboxes" field.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
See screenshot.

I used the following shortcode [wpv-post-field name="wpcf-specialties" separator="<br />"]

I expected to see:
The values not duplicated. I have double checked and I did not add the shortcode twice. This is very strange.

Hi, can I see some additional context in wp-admin? Is the wpv-post-field shortcode added in a Content Template, or in a View's loop, or in an Elementor widget, for example?

If you temporarily deactivate all other plugins and activate a default theme like Twenty Twenty, does the shortcode behave the same way when you place it directly in the post and check the post on the front-end of the site?

Hi Christian,

It is inside an Elementor shortcode widget.

I deactivated all plugins and changed theme to twenty twenty and the duplication stopped.

Anything I can do to get this to work in Elementor or is that unsupported?

Cheers,

Cam

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

Okay, first I would try using a regular text widget instead of the shortcode widget. I've seen Elementor's shortcode widgets have problems with nested shortcodes or other shortcodes with complex content. The text widget seems to have fewer problems with those. Let me know the results.

Looks like we were typing at the same time. I'll resolve this one again.
