[Resolved] wpv-control-post-taxonomy won’t output basic HTML for format field

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I am trying to: Style my radio buttons by adding and some simple classes. It works on the "default-label" field but not on the "format" field of the wpv-control.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: https://www.tyntown.com/timebox/

I expected to see: Additional taxonomy buttons are styled like the default first option.

Instead, I got: All the html is being output as is. I even tried just putting %%NAME and it didn't work. The entire line just put out "%%NAME" in plain text.

Solution:
This was fixed in the latest release. Update all Toolset plugins.

I am trying to: Style my radio buttons by adding <span> and some simple classes. It works on the "default-label" field but not on the "format" field of the wpv-control.

This all used to work before - but somehow have stopped working in the past few months.

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I run a small test on a clean install and I was able to reproduce the same results hidden link

I am not sure if Toolset does support to have HTML tags in the format attribute. Let me check this with our 2nd Tier and get back to you.

#1847057

Our 2nd Tier has analyzed this issue and confirms that this bug appeared recently when we have introduced HTML char encoding. The issue is now escalated to our developers to be fixed in a coming release.

I'll let you know once it is resolved or if we have a workaround to suggest.

Hello,

We have published yesterday the last version of Toolset plugins, it includes the fix for this issue, as you can see in this test site hidden link

Make a full site backup. Then go the Toolset Installer in Plugins->Add New->Commercial(tab) and update your plugins.
Please note that Toolset Views has been removed from the installer, you will need to download it and install it manually, or you can use the Toolset Blocks plugin instead of Views. They are virtually the same plugin, but Toolset Blocks offers one-click-updates from the Toolset installer.

I'll remain at your disposal.
