Hi, after updating Toolset Types to 3.4.20 I get an error notification "WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org"
hidden link
As I am not using WPML for this site, how can I get rid of it?
Thanks
Hi there,
This is often a temporary issue. You can force another check to clear the notice by going to Dashboard → Updates and clicking the Check again button.
If the issue persists I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.
Make sure you set the next reply as private.
Hi, if you mean this "Check again"

That didn't help.
Any other suggestion? Thanks
Thank you for testing that, I will need to login to your website to be able to check the issue,
As Toolset and WPML use the same codebase for the installer plugin, there might be an issue with connection, but usually it is handled by these steps:
https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/
I will follow the steps above to see if I can find the issue for you if you can provide the login information after making the next reply as private.
Thanks.
Unfortunately this is a third-party website with confidential customer information, and this creates some GDPR problems if we grant admin access.
The steps you sent me refers to how to troubleshoot WPML, but this is not installed at all, so I don't have the menu shown in the screenshots.
Where is the installer support window on Toolset?
Thanks
Found the Installer support window, but it looks ok

Hi there,
I checked the list of the plugins in the debug information and you do not have the OTGS Installeer installed so my previous assumption that the codebase of the installer is the same does not apply for your case.
Have you ever had WPM L installed on your website at some point? If that is the case it might be a leftover message in wp_options table in the database.
Here are the entries that you can delete from database wp_options table (for your case the wp_ might be a different prefix):
- icl_admin_messages
- wpml_string_table_ok_for_mo_import
- wpml_notices
Make sure you have a backup of your database before doing any action there.
Thanks.
That's everything I have with "WPML" on the wp_options table

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing that, unfortunately, that does not have anything to do with the message.
I hope you would understand that access to the website would be necessary to ask the second-tier support to take a look into the matter.
I suggest that you create a version of the website that does not violate the GDPR law and share the information of that website, that way we will be able to access it and see if we can find why this is happening.
One last thing to suggest is to re-register Toolset and see if it helps.
- Make sure that you are logged in toolset.com
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".
- Click the Unregister Toolset link.
- Click the "Register Toolset" at the right section of the screen.
- Click the "Get a key for this site" link annotated in the screenshot below.
- A new page will open up and the auto-generated key will show in pop-up.
- Copy the key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box.
- Click the "OK" button.
See if it helps.
Thanks.
