[Resolved] WPForms stops PDF upload on Toolset forms

Hi, I'm building a website with a Template based on Astra+Elementor+WPForms. I built a CPT and a form with Toolset form to add new posts. The form has an Upload file field, basically to upload PDF files.

When i try to upload a PDF file I get an error message like "this file type is not allowed". I found that if I deactivate WPForms it works fine, so there is a conflct.

Would you like to check for a solution?

I could switch to Contact7 forms, but I'd prefere to not change the current setup.

Hi, I wasn't able to replicate that in a quick test in my local environment, so maybe there is a configuration issue I'm missing? Is it possible for me to make a clone of your site using Duplicator so I can try to narrow down the problem? If that's okay, please provide login credentials in the private reply fields here. Also - please let me know how to find the Form on the front-end of your site. Thanks!

Hi Umberto,

It seems that is issue is with the WPForms plugin as you say.

What seems to be happening is that it is conflicting with our upload field. WPForms scripts might be adding a restricting on all the upload fields on the page and not scoping it to just their forms.

I would suggest getting in touch with the WPForms team for them to resolve this issue because when the contact form is removed from the page, the upload works fine.
