Hello

PHP 8 is now out for a while and PHP 8.1 has been released shortly.
When can we see PHP 8 support?

Thanks
Aldo

Hi there

Sorry, we don't have a specific time frame for adding support for PHP8, although we are aware that time is moving on and that we will need to address it sooner rather than later. We have worked on some specific issues as they have arisen, but need to perform a comprehensive review of our code, and it's not a trivial project because of the size of the Toolset suite of products.

There will be a blog post to annouce support when it comes, so keep an eye out for that.

Hi Nigel

Thanks for getting back.
Well, I think you should move on with this, as active support for PHP 7.4 ended November 2021 and after November 2022 no more security support will be provided.
You can check the official PHP roadmap here: hidden link

Hi Aldo,

Thank you for the information. As Nigel mentioned previously that a full review of our code need to be done for us to ensure php 8 compatibility.

Not much else we can do right now until our development team perform the needed tasks. We do fully understand the urgency of getting this done.

However please await our blog post on PHP 8 compatibility as Nigel stated.

Thanks,
Shane
