I am trying to:
Activating WP Bakery page builder when I want to edit an archive page won't work anymore. It seems there are JS errors (from console).
Clicking on WP Bakery button leaves an empty section on the editing interface.
That issue is present in both of my sites (intra.ergo-romont.ch and intra.psycoherence.ch/blopsy).
Hello, please try these troubleshooting steps first:
- Clear your browser cache, log out, then log back in to wp-admin and test again.
- Temporarily activate a default theme like Twenty Seventeen, then deactivate all plugins except Toolset plugins and WPBakery Page Builder, then test again.
- If the problem was resolved, please reactivate your theme and plugins one by one until the problem returns.
- If the problem was not resolved, I will need to take a closer look.
Hi Christian,
I tried everything you said, no way. When only Toolset plugins and WP Bakery are activated, the issue remains. Same under the theme Twenty Seventeen.
PS: I created a template for editing and inserted the edit link in the archive template, however it won't show up in frontend. Since I created my templates with WP Bakery, maybe the conflict between WP Bakery and Toolset could be the cause of that issue too (?)
Thanks for the report, we are investigating the compatibility issue with the latest version of WP Bakery Page Builder and will update you here soon.
A quick update from my lead developer: we are planning to include a fix for this compatibility issue in Views 2.6.2, which is entering testing now. Right now it looks like that may happen next week. I will keep you posted here as I receive more information.
Great, thanks for the update. I look fwd to having the issue solved by next week. 🙂
Please find the latest version of Views available for download or automatic update. Let me know if the problem is not completely resolved.
