Hi Hans,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order for you to use our Blocks plugin with the WPBakery page you will need to enable the classic views builder to create your views.

To do this go to Toolset -> Settings and then scroll down to Editing Experience and select the 3rd option. Once you've done this you can just refresh the page and you should now have the option Toolset -> Views

From there you can create your views to be then used in the WPBakery template.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Thanks Shane- got that working, will now try views.

Had an issue with the CPT template- even though I created the template following instructions, the page is blank. I have found a way however to use shortcodes in the visual editor. Is that the only way to get the CPT showing up properly on the frond end?

Also - everytime I add a shortcode via the editor it gives me {!{ instead of [ ..? why's that?

Hi Hans,

I suspect that this is the case because the content template itself may not have any content added to it.

Also - everytime I add a shortcode via the editor it gives me {!{ instead of [ ..? why's that?
This is because the shortcodes are being added for compatibility purposes when page they are used inside pagebuilders.

I have found a way however to use shortcodes in the visual editor. Is that the only way to get the CPT showing up properly on the frond end?

Not sure what you mean by this, can you provide a bit more detail for me.
Thanks,
Shane
