[Resolved] WP Backend Update Process Offering Me Up to View Lite

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: when clicking on "View version x.x.x. details" you get a popup with Views Lite details and a download link to it.

Solution: the release note and the “update now” link in Plugins -> Installed Plugins point correctly to the full version of Views.
The same happens when you go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial, you have the option to correctly update to Views full version, so use one of these links.

I have a normal update notification in the WP admin back end telling me I need to update Toolset Views

When I check the option "View version 2.6.4.2 details" to look at the changelog I am offered TS Views Lite 2.6.4.2-lite

I am currently on TS View 2.6.4 and I have a full licence so not sure why I'm being offered what appears to be a lite version.

Hi,

this happened to some clients already and it seems to be an issue with the installer.
Could you please send me the credentials so I can better check? I’ll enable a private reply.

If you go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ do you get the option to download the full version or the Lite version?

Hi,

I logged into your site, and from what I can see, the release note and the “update now” link in Plugins -> Installed Plugins point correctly to the full version of Views.
The same happens when you go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial, you have the option to correctly update to Views full version.

So if you update from one of these links you should be downloading Views 2.6.4.2
If after the update you still see links pointing to Views Lite, please let me know so we can further investigate the issue.

I did the update and got the correct version of Views.

Just to clarify it was the changelog description that appeared to be wrong. It seems to be pointing to a description about TS Views lite. The changelog for both the version I have and the version I was offered concerns Elementor updates btw.
