white screen when install blocks or view

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that when the user updated to the latest version of views they are getting the White screen of Death when running php version 5.6.40

Solution:
This is actually a known issue and our developers have released a small patch for this.

To apply the patch please follow the instructions in the link below.

This support ticket is created 4 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

When i install wp-views.3.0.2 or toolset-blocks.1.0.2 wp goes to the white screen of death. I have deactivated all plugins except toolset. My site is new with imported data.

Thank you for getting in touch. We actually addressed this issue in a patch.

Please apply the patch by following the instructions in the link below.

Yes this is the same exact tweet for blocks, however the folder in the plugins folder would be called "toolset-beta".

Hi Michal,

Toolset blocks is a separate plugin and is no longer in Beta, so it wouldn't be under the beta section of our installer.

So blocks should appear under the installable plugins for Toolset.

Also blocks and views aren't meant to be used together. Blocks is essentially the same as views just with the visual builder enabled by default.

I want to use blocks. I think it is most advanced then views.
