Solution:
You need to use the Toolset Access plugin which you can download from your Account's download page:

I have downloaded 2 plug-ins, Toolset Types & Toolset Views, but in the wordpress menu bar I am unable to see the Access Tab. I just want basic functionality to be able to lock a piece of content on a page.

I have followed your advice re: Divi and disabled the latest functionality.
OK, but the problem there is when I go to that section, it seems to require me to upgrade, but I don't need the upgraded features...
