I am trying to: enable Embedded Toolset in my website, because I don't want to allow my client to edit Layouts or other things.

I visited this URL https://toolset.com/2015/04/how-would-you-like-to-build-toolset-based-themes/ but some links are 404 and I can't find where to download Embedded Toolset.

Maybe it was removed? What should I do to solve my problem?

Hi Stefano,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. As it is mentioned in the doc that now you cannot download Embedded Toolset plugins. You also don’t need to. Instead, there’s a (hopefully simple) process that you should follow to create themes with Embedded Toolset.

This process includes:

- Enabling Embedded Toolset support for your account
- Developing your theme using Toolset plugins (like you would build a site)
- Using Toolset Packager plugin to create a configuration file for everything you developed with Toolset plugins
- Downloading Toolset Installer and add it to your theme
- Distributing your theme to your clients.

Please follow this doc: https://toolset.com/2015/04/how-would-you-like-to-build-toolset-based-themes/

Thank you

As I already said, I visited that page but I cannot proceed any further because the links in the doc leads to some 404s.

The links are:

Also, I am unable to find the button "Enable Embedded Toolset" in "My Account", as said in the last section "Getting started with Embedded Toolset".

I really don't know what should I do.

Sorry, I made a mistake in my last message, basically I wanted to say that old process is not available or no longer applicable for building Toolset-based themes.

The new process & method for building Toolset-based themes is below:

1. You need to have a “Toolset Author account” for this. Choose Your Author Account for Building Toolset-Based Themes: https://toolset.com/buy-toolset-author/

2. The new process is outlined here -- How to build Toolset-based themes:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-to-build-toolset-based-themes/

Thank you
