what to use to build the home page?

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I bought toolset and created the user and admin section of my site.

now after reading many posts in the toolset site, I have to understand if I can use Gutttemberg together with View to create the home page.
What is better to do? I await your advice.
Keep in mind that on my site (under construction) users insert a type of post and in the home page will be almost completely used by images in evidence

Thank you for contacting our support forum 🙂

From your post I assume that you are referring to the wordpress upcoming version here https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/

I have good news regarding this as our team is aiming to be one of the first plugin providers to be ready and compatible with the gutenberg update.

It all depends on how you want your homepage to be presented but you can generally use our Views content template to do this. Additionally your theme might have provided a page builder to do this as well.

I made a drawing of how I would like my home page, is an example.

I do not understand how to do it with view?
View does not allow me to add "blocks" and arrange them as Layouts.
View is useful for creating search pages, correct?

I prefer to use Guttemberg as it will be the future. Can I install it or are there conflicts with Toolset?

It would be best to use Layouts to do this.

Additionally currently I know that wordpress 5.0 with gutenberg has not yet been released. How do you plan on using this though this plugin ?

Finally If you were to use gutenberg I can't say that our products will work well as we normally update them for the latest version of wordpress and since this has yet to be released then our plugins are not yet updated to be compatible.
