Hey, what files should I add to the .gitignore file when using git?

I remember that there were some problems when pushing and pulling in the past and a developer had to add some files to the .gitignore file and that sovled the problem, but I forgot what it was.

I honestly don't know and it's not subject to our Support either:
https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/

But if you refer to these issues, they should be fixed:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/fatal-error-when-cloning-git-repo-with-layouts-plugin-installed/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/error-when-pulling-repository-with-layouts-plugin-installed/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/twig-git-submodule-interferes-with-local-vcs/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/a-git-object-pack/

Toolset Plugins include no support or guidance on external version control.
But seeing those users, I think the problems are solved.
