Hi,
I have WP Rocket premium paid caching plugin. it helps my website load much faster.
however, when I have it activated and edit any layout, the changes will not save. When i click "save changes" the loading circle will keep rotating forever, then an error 524 will appear in the browser console.
this will happen even when wp rocket is turned off afterwards.
the only solution is t
o turn wp rocket off, then manually edit the wp-confic.php to disable caching, then deleting the cache folder using ftp.
this problem happens ONLY with the Toolset Layouts component. all other toolset functions save properly.
i had raised this problem before in this support ticket:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/i-cant-save-changes-to-the-layouts/
the support team member blamed wpml for the problem in that support ticket. i now have wpml turned off, and the same problem exists.
i checked your documentation here:
https://toolset.com/faq/working-with-caching-plugins/
however, the article does not suggest a list of "compatible" plugins.
so, can you please advise what caching plugins are tested as "compatible" with toolset Layouts?
i need caching, but i can't do all these steps everytime i need to edit a line in a layout.
thanks
We have 2 guides about this:

W3tc is mentioned there, however, we do not explicitly recommend this or that plugin.

We would need to take a look at this, however it is very possible that the cache plugin interrupts Layouts' workflow based on AJAX and that may result in such errors, however we would need to take a look at this following precise steps to replicate it or on a copy of a possibly "fresh" website with just Toolset and that plugin, so we could then either fix or open a compatibility process to solve it.
If the problem only appears with WPML and the cache plugin, then yes it would be a conflict between those plugins but we still could handle it here, we are the same company.
Please, can you package a copy of the site so we can have a look?
